Media sales & marketing department
The IMS sales strategy is all about solution selling and relationship building. We take the view that partnerships will always be more fruitful for both parties and we endeavour to build this approach into all our sales, big or small. The media solutions department works closely with all clients to understand their objectives and then find the best way to meet them. In short we approach our clients as specialists in our field, with more to offer than a simple space on a page. With knowledge of the market place, the reader, effective marketing techniques and strategic marketing proposals our offering is truly a media solution.
Editorial
The editorial strategy of IMS is to segregate and understand the reader intimately, and then provide valuable need to know editorial that specifically meets their needs; as opposed to generic editorial for large groups with widely varying roles. We aim to be a master of one trade as opposed to a jack of all, recognising where multiple publications are necessary or beneficial within each individual industry and addressing all levels.
Design & production
All IMS products feature strong, easily recognisable designs and set standards that other trade journals are hard-pushed to compete against. The design department also undertakes one-off projects, such as newsletters or other forms of contract publishing, as adverts and other promotional material both for IMS and its clients and is responsible for the ‘look and feel’ of all the products in the IMS portfolio, both in print and online, as well as the overall corporate branding of IMS.
Database & subscription management
We work hard to ensure our readership is well-targeted and that your message is getting to the right people. Our subscriptions and database department is indispensable and works hard to develop our database into a veritable goldmine of contacts and readers.
